Soon enough, Los Angeles will be my home sweet home. Today was the first day at my new job and I feel really good about it. I'm also signing a lease for an adorable studio this week! Life is good.

BICYCLE TYPOGRAM

How awesome is this bicycle typogram by Aaron Kuehn? I wish I could ride it around! Sorry for being M.I.A. lately! I have been out in Los Angeles for the past week. It's been a crazy few days. I had a last minute job interview and ended up getting the job! I'm moving out here in about a month! Any of you live in the L.A. area? Let's be friends!

Oh, to walk across the ocean...

If only we could really walk across the ocean on our bare feet to visit other places around the world! It's up in the 80s and 90s in Indiana right now and incredibly muggy! I need the beach and a good book, stat! I just purchased a plane ticket to Los Angeles over the 4th of July and I couldn't be more excited. I haven't been out there since February, which is far too long.

Warby Parker & A Surprise!

Has anyone else fallen in love with the new Warby Parker collection? I definitely have. There are so many cute new vintage-style frames. I love that they incorporate their own creativity with a vintage look. It definitely doesn't hurt. Choosing a favorite is too hard, can't I just have them all? Too bad I don't need glasses!

& a surprise! I'll be leaving town tomorrow through Monday to venture out to L.A. to see my boy, his band, and my friends! Local Natives are playing a show on Saturday at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with an orchestra. It's impossible for me to express my excitement in words! I'll bring back lots of stories and pictures! While I'm gone, I'm going to have a surprise guest blogger. I really can't wait to see what she comes up with. You all are going to love it! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend!

J.Crew: Gone Hollywood

Not only do I adore these looks, but I love that J.Crew incorporated different popular L.A. sites in this shoot! I'm not going to lie, it makes me want to hop on a plane and return to the city ASAP. There's short little tidbits on the different places on this series, Gone Hollywood. I can't even begin to explain to you how much I miss LA (and warm weather)! Luckily, I'll be making my way back in late February!

My first, but definitely not last trip to LA

I have to say, I've definitely fallen in love with LA. I can't wait until I'm back there next! Are any of you from the area or have visited? What do you think? I hope you and yours have had a wonderful new year thus far! I have a feeling 2011 is going to be a great year!

Asos & A Belated Happy New Year!

I adore the "collegiate style meets flirty '50s shapes" of the new All-American Girl collection by Asos. I would wear all of these outfits, hands down. I just received an amazing Asos jacket from my boyfriend for Christmas. I'll make sure to upload pictures as soon as I get the chance! I've been in LA since last Monday visiting. It's my first time out here and I absolutely love it. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and I'm sorry for my lengthy absence!
