We all know that Valentine's Day is just around the corner, a cliché holiday that has our supermarkets filled with hundreds of red and pink hearts, candies, and cards. Personally, I don't enjoy this part of Valentine's day, but I do love any reason to be creative and show someone you love them. Here are a few items that I've seen online that I find inspiring and cute (without making you want to puke up candy hearts).

It's pretty and multifunctional!
"The design is based on the functional aspect of the furoshiki; the idea of wrapping and folding. At first glance it appears as a bold and abstract pattern but when seen as a whole, it becomes apparent that the stripes depict manipulated and tied fabric." (via Link)
Not only do I adore this pattern, I love the fact that this item is so multifunctional! How neat is this? I really love this item by Lucinda Newton-Dunn. (Seen via Oh Joy!)
