It's pretty and multifunctional!

"The design is based on the functional aspect of the furoshiki; the idea of wrapping and folding. At first glance it appears as a bold and abstract pattern but when seen as a whole, it becomes apparent that the stripes depict manipulated and tied fabric." (via Link)

Not only do I adore this pattern, I love the fact that this item is so multifunctional! How neat is this? I really love this item by Lucinda Newton-Dunn. (Seen via Oh Joy!)

  1. Furoshiki are so cool!
I came across a bicycle print one on Etsy last year and I could kick myself for not getting it now I can't find it anywhere.

It 's so lovely to make the wrapping a great present in itself. :)

  5. Gah! I love when people wrap gifts with scarves! Every time I have something to wrap, I forget, and end up using pages from tabloids. Blarg!
