"Books breaking through the wall downstairs, referencing the 'basement stacks' every library has. In this case it's as if those stacks had been sealed up during some remodel, and are anthropomorphically breaking through, referencing the old library, history, roots, poltergeists... Created for the VIA Advertising Agency, which recently renovated and moved their offices into the old Baxter building, which served as Portland's public library from 1888 until the 1960s." BICYCLE TYPOGRAM
How awesome is this bicycle typogram by Aaron Kuehn? I wish I could ride it around! Sorry for being M.I.A. lately! I have been out in Los Angeles for the past week. It's been a crazy few days. I had a last minute job interview and ended up getting the job! I'm moving out here in about a month! Any of you live in the L.A. area? Let's be friends!

Who knew potholes could look so pretty?

I love this installation by artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera! I never thought I could be cheered up by a pothole, but I couldn't help but smile looking at these. (via HonestlyWTF)
On a completely different note, what are your thoughts on the Lollapalooza lineup for this summer? I just made my custom lineup, here. I'll actually be in Chicago later this week to see Matt (I haven't seen him since my trip to Austin in March!) and watch Local Natives play a show at Columbia College. Needless to say, I'm excited! After that, I have one more final and then I graduate college! Crazy!

Marc Johns
I've always loved Marc Johns. How can you not? Even the "about" section on his blog is cute and quirky. "I've been drawing since I was tiny. I'm not tiny anymore, but I'm not very big either." Go check out more of his artwork!
