BEST FRIENDS, DIFFERENT COASTS

I'm about to make the move from Indiana to Los Angeles and it's definitely made me think a lot about all of the goodbyes (more like see you laters) I'm going to have to say within the coming weeks. It's bittersweet, that's for sure. One of my closest friends has lived in New York for years and although we've been states apart, we've always stayed close. That friendship helps remind me that moving doesn't really mean goodbye, just see you later. The ones that matter, will always be close to my heart. Here's a photo we took one day when he was visiting Indiana. We're about to be even farther apart, but distance has nothing on us!

I find these photos by Jasper James absolutely beautiful. There's something about creating beauty through glass and reflections that's always been so interesting to me, but I can usually tell what I'm looking at immediately. It look me a second to soak in these photos because they're done so well!
